The Sanyo DMX-CG110 is a pistol-grip style camcorder (meaning the body has a vertical layout) that offers both full 1080p HD video recording, and 14-megapixel still image capture. Sanyo promises that their high-speed processor makes this little cam both easy on batteries and easy to use in almost any lighting situation; certainly a camcorder that can handle low light without dissolving into image noise would be welcomed by anyone. A host of features like Image Stabilization, a 12x Double Range Zoom, 16GB of built-in memory plus SD/SDHC/SDXC card capability, and HDMI connectivity make for a decent, if not stand-out, addition to the marketplace. It is the successor to the popular CG10 model, which could bode well for sales.
