Sony HXR-NX30
Preview of the Sony HXR-NX30.

Sony's newest addition to their NX line is high tech but handheld. Dubbed the "Palm Size" camera, it shoots full HD 1080p at 60 fps and also captures stills. Sony has taken the built in projectors of the PJ line and added it to this professional level model, and also included 96 GB of internal flash memory for quick recording and plenty of video storage. An LED light and NightShot model allow for better low light recordings. The 10x optical zoom lens is mounted on a gyroscope, a new idea for improving image stability.  The NX30 has a shotgun microphone and removable audio pod, plus input ports. All this to help the NX30 record on a 1/2.33" CMOS sensor designed for better low light performance.
