JVCs' PX100 is the odd man out with an unusual yet comfortable design that resembles a DSLR camera. The PX100 is capable of frame rates up to 600 frames per second (at a reduced resolution) and 60 fps at full resolution. Most users will want to shoot at full resolution, but some cases, like seeing all the details of a baseball pitch, for example, using the high frame rate and slow motion feature is a nice feature. The slow motion capabilities is what the PX100 offers over any other model. JVC is calling it their best camcorder on the market for 2013, and it is a nice choice. Along with the high speed frame rates, the camcorder features wi-fi, touchscreen and an optical viewfinder.
