Hey! You should know that GoPro has released a newer version of this product: the GoPro HERO4 Silver.

The most popular mounted camcorder has added a plus to their name--but it's a pretty significant upgrade. The GoPro HERO3+ is about 20 percent smaller than the original HERO3. The manufacturer claims a 33 percent improvement in sharpness and reduced distortion, improved wi-fi speed, a wider angle lens and a longer battery. The HERO3+ Black Edition has also added an automatic low light mode for adjusting the settings for improved low light performance. The HERO3+ Silver edition offers similar improvements over the older version, though offers lower megapixel stills and only goes up to 1080p60 while the Black Edition also offers 4Kp15 / 2.7Kp30 / 1440p48. The Silver also doesn't include the wi-fi remote. GoPro makes a good product that's suitable for most uses (one was even recently mounted on top of an eagle for a literal bird's eye view). Because GoPro is so popular, there are plenty of accessories and mounting options available. The GoPro HERO3+, however, is one of the more pricier options.
